Trailer Park Podcast is back with episode 57! It's just the cousins for this one (and The Intern) and they check out X-Men: Apocalypse, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, The Conjuring 2, The Phenom and Swiss Army Man.  We dive into the X-Men world a little deeper in this episode and explore how many rejects there are loitering around the old Xavier campus  and discover that there are several "gifted" specimens being shown the back door.  Swiss Army Man is directed by two guys named DANIEL and it stars DANIEL Radcliffe and Paul DANo so naturally it seems appropriate to investigate the origins of the name "Daniel" and submit an online questionnaire about how the name makes us feel.  Be sure to stick around for The Burden List and The Intern Archive Update.

Join the gang for Trailer Park Podcast #56!  We check out Money Monster, A Bigger Splash, The Darkness, The Nice Guys and The Angry Birds Movie.  Our headliner for 56 is none other than Money Monster, this movie has a special impact on us here at TPP because we actually played a game  back in episode 33 where we had to choose un-produced screenplays to be made into a movie and Money Monster was one of the options.  Nathan is the only contestant on that game to choose Money Monster and as it has now become a movie, Chelsea, Daniel and The Intern must shower him with affection and give him the respect and credit that he deserves.  Also in this episode we discuss the spelling and pronunciation of Ralph Fiennes, Chelsea's fear of closets and darkness and we burden the Intern with more homework as we attempt to delve into the finer details of the Buddy Cop film genre.  Will there ever be another great buddy cop film? could The Nice Guys be it?  Will Nathan regret saying he is excited about The Angry Birds Movie like he did with Mortdecai?   How can he still be in the lead on the Intern Archive Update?  How bad can Daniel really be at predicting whether a movie will be good or not?  Give us a listen and find out! Don't forget to stick around for The Burden List segment and 10 to 15 minutes of white noise.

Join Nathan, Daniel, Chelsea and The Intern for Trailer Park Podcast #55! We check out Captain America: Civil War, Hologram for the King, Tale of Tales, Keanu and High-Rise. The Intern brings a lot of attitude on this episode and there might actually be a Civil War that erupts amongst the ranks of this podcast if his attempts to be a host continue. It's been awhile since Tom Hanks really knocked one out of the park that everybody loves and assumes he will be Oscar nominated for... will his latest effort make Hanks a King again? or a Hologram? Tale of Tales is a bizarre horror fantasy romance brought to us by acclaimed Italian director Matteo Garrone, King or Hologram? Keanu is pretty cute and Key and Peele can be quite funny but will they be Kings? or Holograms? High-Rise looks like a kingdom of holograms... word. Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Join the gang for Trailer Park Podcast 54! Nathan, Daniel and The Intern check out the latest rendition of Kipling as the Jungle Book headlines our latest installment.  We ask if everybody actually wants some? Does it need two exclamation marks included in it's official title? Green Room is our fulcrum and regardless of how green it is, "going to the green room" or "taking it to the green room" has now become a  way to describe when someone has a hunch or takes a leap of faith on TPP.  Criminal is resurrecting the essence of the 90's action flick and Nathan is taking it to the green room.  Elvis & Nixon is a movie about a photo of a meeting between Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon... and The Intern wants this photo on his wall.  Stick around for a surprising edition of the round table where The Burden List weighs heavily on the conversation and don't forget the 20th edition of The Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #53

Join us for Trailer Park Podcast 53! It's a full house as Daniel and Nathan are joined by Chelsea, Amanda and The Intern and we square off in a versus themed episode in honor of our headliner Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  We also check out Sally Field in Hello, My Name is Doris. How many of us will accept an invitation to the horror entry for episode 53, The Invitation? Sam Rockwell is definitely Mr. Right most of the time but will Mr. Right be wrong? Demolition rounds out the line up and looks like it has the potential to turn everyone into a Gyllenhaalic, Nathan will be starting a group for anyone that needs support.  It's a special Burden List for this episode as Amanda's Oscar victory allows her to burden everyone on the podcast to watch a movie.  An unprecedented event has occurred on TPP as well as one of Nathan and Daniel has allowed their Burden List to grow to six and we don't feel that it would be appropriate to say who in the description of the episode, ok it was Daniel.  Stick around for the round table and Intern Archive Update.

The Lost Trailers: The WTF Edition

Join Daniel, Nathan and The Intern for the latest installment of The Lost Trailers on Trailer Park Podcast! This installment is a first of many to come, a themed lineup celebrating trailers that make us ask what the fuck? We check out I Believe in Unicorns, Lucky Stiff, Deathgasm, Prince and Dangerous Men.  Stick around for the round table and be sure to visit www.trailerparkpodcast.com and click on the posters to watch the trailers as the entries for the episode are guaranteed to confuse and baffle your senses.

Trailer Park Podcast #52

Ctrl + left click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Trailer Park Podcast #52 has arrived!  Join Nathan, Daniel and The Intern for another wild ride through the worried and excited landscape.  We check out the new animated feature from Disney called Zootopia and we find out a little more than we bargained for as it is being discriminatory towards humans, not a single human is portrayed in the film despite it being set in a city.  Creative Control is about augmented reality and might be getting too hung up on itself to satisfy our curiosity over the subject matter.  The Other Side of the Door is the fulcrum of TPP 52 and someone shouldn't have to tell you not to open the door depicted in this trailer.  Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is a play on the WTF, what the fuck acronym and that is really clever and funny, it may be the funniest thing about this movie.  Midnight Special is apparently "Nathan's kind of movie" according to Daniel so if you're interested in a well executed, soulful science fiction film about a boy with special powers that has to go on the run with his father against people trying to use him as a weapon then, yeah, maybe you should get excited and check out a "Nathan kind of movie".  Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #51

Join Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea and The Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 51! We learn that the Gods of Egypt actually kick started creation with masturbation, but that has nothing to do with the racebending headliner of our 51st episode.  Touched with Fire deals with crazy love and drama so it goes without saying that Daniel is dripping in flame retardant.  Eli Roth reboots his own remake of Cabin Fever and the US version of Martyrs make up our first ever double fulcrum.  This special bonus of horror nearly makes Daniel kick start some creation of his own.  Eddie the Eagle stars Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton AND THE 1988 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES IN CALGARY!!! All of our responses are not impacted by the location of this movie in any way whatsoever.  Triple 9 closes out our lineup and although "999" means urgent help needed / officer down this movie looks like it doesn't need any help whatsoever and Nathan may have a new director on his list of people who make him blindly excited about movies.  Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast: The Lost Trailers #7

Another installment of the Lost Trailers is here! Join us for episode 7 as Nathan, Daniel, Chelsea and Amanda...and a wine bottle (or two) kick back for some back talk and harmless banter.  We also talk about The Intern behind his back in a rare absence on TPP.   We check out Partisan starring Vincent Cassel, Man Up starring Lake Bell and Simon Pegg, Freaks of Nature starring zombies AND aliens, Two Step starring Austin, Texas and Our Brand is Crisis starring Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton.  Stick around for the Rotten Tomato Game!

Trailer Park Podcast #50

Join Trailer Park Podcast for our golden anniversary.  In episode 50 Nathan and Daniel are joined by Chelsea and The Intern for a very exciting lineup.  We all get jacked for the new Coen brothers movie Hail, Caesar! and our second trailer focuses on one of The Intern's areas of expertise, How To Be Single.  The horror fulcrum for episode 50 is none other than Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and apparently a trusted source told Daniel it's good, tune in to see if that matters to anyone else.  Zoolander No. 2 looks like it could be an absolute disaster so we'll hope for the best and prepare for the worst.  Finally, we check out Deadpool to see if the 3rd time is the charm for Ryan Reynolds in a superhero movie.  We ponder how much our desire for Deadpool to succeed may blind us from the truth - that it is going to make people who like Deadpool make excuses for it.  Stick around for The Burden List, The Intern Archive Update and the return of The Blacklist on TPP.

Trailer Park Podcast #49

Ctrl + left click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join us for TPP episode 49!  Daniel, Nathan and the Intern try to talk about the Oscar Diversity issue without sounding racist.  Po looks to have found his father in the 3rd installment of the Kung Fu Panda movies and because it's a cartoon and looks fun and enjoyable Daniel is naturally going to shit all over it.  Synchronicity is a time travel movie that looks to be challenging the concept of time itself, hopefully it isn't too long.  Jeruzalem is our fulcrm a.k.a mandated (forced) horror entry and apparently Jerusalem is one of the three gates to Hell, don't worry though, we will make the Intern go in first.  Lazer Team is a fan funded movie that looks like a great concept that may only be significantly appreciated by the fans who funded it but we're hoping we're wrong.  Finally we check out Daniel's favorite muggle in her new movie Colonia which appears to have a pinch of romance with a dash of revolution but is marinated in cult.  There is lot's to check out including a new Trilogy Franchise game, The Burden List, The Intern Archive Update and we also discuss Celebrity Death Pools and Death Hoaxes.

Trailer Park Podcast #48

Ctrl + left click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Join us for our first episode of 2016! We check out the new Michael Bay movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi and apparently Jim and Roy from The Office enlisted together and get involved in some serious shit in Libya.  Nathan educates Daniel on the merit of Canadian directors and the challenges Christopher Plummer will face as a man suffering from dementia on a mission to kill the Nazi that murdered his family.  Daniel drones on about another horror movie, this episodes installment is called The Boy but don't let the title fool you, it's actually about a doll.  The Intern really likes dirty old men so naturally he tries to hide how excited he is about Robert De Niro getting his freak on in Dirty Grandpa.  Finally we check out The 5th Wave and after confirming it is not a mini series we discuss how badly it will fail at the box office.  We run a little long in our first installment of The Roundtable in 2016 as there is much to discuss.  Stick around for The Burden List and The Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #47

Join Daniel, Nathan, Chelsea and The Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 47! We check out The Revenant, Concussion, The Forest, Anomalisa and the Point Break remake.  We ask Chelsea which one of us is most likely to survive being left for dead after a bear attack and receive some surprising feedback. The new Will Smith movie is about head trauma which is what many people suffer from when they choose to enter the Suicide Forest in Japan. Can a horror movie based on a real life anomaly use the anomaly as a tool to hype the movie and increase it's success? Does the new animated movie Anomalisa have what it takes to beat Inside Out for the Oscar? The Academy has a median age of 62 years old so we'll have to wait and find out how much joy they have left or if they are like The Intern and are full of anger, disgust and sadness.  Does the remake of Point Beak have a shot at tapping into the cult fan base of the original? How bad was Gary Busey really? Can Edgar Ramirez step into Bodie's shoes without insulting Patrick Swayze fans? There are many questions to be answered and we will answer all of them.  Stick around for The Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #46

Join us for Trailer Park Podcast #46 a.k.a Star Wars cast.  Yes the time has come to awaken the force in all of us and embrace a story from a long time ago and a galaxy far far away.  The excitement from Daniel, Nathan and The Intern comes as no surprise because this is a major cinematic event and it looks like Jeffrey Jacob might have actually pulled this off.  We play games, clips and celebrate the possibility of a return to form that could finally bury the prequels where they belong in the land of the forgotten.  We learn that The Intern is still making excuses for the prequel trilogy and should be dragged out into the street and shot.  We also check out the new 118 minute Saturday Night Live sketch called "Sisters",   Henry Rollins takes hold ofthe fulcrum in "He Never Died" and David O'Russell looks to hustle us again with "Joy" starring everyone that was in his previous 3 movies.  Tarantino arrives in a snowy horse drawn carriage with "The Hateful Eight" and it looks like he could be at his most pretentious but we'll probably end up liking it anyway.  We also take a quick look at the new Bill Burr animated cartoon on Netflix called "F is for Family".  Stick around for The Burden List and The Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #45

Join Nathan, Daniel and The Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 45! We check out In the Heart of the Sea, The Big Short, Krampus, Don Verdean and Chi-Raq.  We dive into the heart of the sausage party and address the lack of female presence in Ron Howard's new movie inspired by Moby Dick. The Big Short has a lot of big names in it but they fail to convince us why we shouldn't start using the title of this movie as a new nickname for The Intern.  Krampus has arrived at Trailer Park Podcast, a potential Christmas horror classic in the making.  Apparently Krampus punishes people on good ol' Saint Nick's naughty list, but The Intern escaped unscathed which leads us to question the Christmas demon's integrity.  The creator of Napoleon Dynamite resurfaces and brings a terrific ensemble with him in Don Verdean.  Nathan is blinded by the presence of Sam Rockwell in the title role and Daniel supports him as a gentleman and family should and The Intern said a bunch of stuff that we didn't bother listening to.  Chi-Raq is the latest offering from Spike Lee and is based off the ancient Greek play Lysistrata.  Set against the backdrop of gun violence in Chicago, Spike Lee looks to bring some art back to film with a little cinematic musical theatre.  Please note the Canadian spelling of the word theatre and how ready some of the more international participants of this podcast are for artsy musical expressionism.  Stick around for The Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #44

Join Nathan, Daniel and The Intern for Trailer Park Podcast 44! We check out The Secret in Their Eyes, The Night Before, #Horror, The Danish Girl and Creed.  Daniel asks why Creed wasn't the headliner and Nathan is too nice to point out how sexist it is to automatically jump to the conclusion that a boxing movie with Stallone should come before a movie with TWO best actress oscar winners. Way to go cousin, I give your ignorance a +3.  Nathan defiantly gambles on #Horror in the face of Daniel's familiar precarious moon dance. The Intern back peddles about Eddie Redmayne going back to back as best actor this year and tries to hide how worried he is about The Danish Girl.  Stick around for The Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast: The Lost Trailers #6

Ctrl + left click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Our 6th installment of the Lost Trailers arrives where we attempt to make amends to those movies that may have deserved more attention then we were able to give them at the time of their release.  In Episode #6 Daniel, Nathan and The Intern check out Dragon Blade, Slow Learners, Blood Sucking Bastards, The Lobster and Dope.  Stick around for the Rotten Tomato Game and we also pay tribute to Back to the Future day!

Trailer Park Podcast #43

Ctrl + left click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Podcast. Trailer Park Podcast. Episode 43 a.k.a Bond Cast. It's been a long time coming but Spectre has finally arrived and headlines our 43rd installment of TPP. Chelsea and The Intern join Nathan and Daniel as we try and define our excitement over Spectre.  We argue over whether Jane Got A Gun should have an apostrophe in the title and Natalie Portman's honor is attacked and although her honor is successfully defended by Nathan it brings into question the integrity of other participants.  The horror entry is The Hallow, a monster in the woods type deal with plenty of reason to be worried but it appears the all horror lineup in TPP 42 has made it difficult for some to recognize.  We check out a movie called Entertainment and try to figure out if the main actor will be likeable enough because he's really irritating in the trailer. Finally we end on a real positive note and check out Spotlight, a drama based on true events regarding the initial discovery of Catholic priest child molestation.  Stick around for The Burden List and the Intern Archive Update.

Trailer Park Podcast #42

Ctrl + left click on the poster if you want to watch the trailer!

Happy Halloween from Trailer Park Podcast!  In episode 42 we have to endure an all horror movie lineup and it has absolutely nothing to do with restitution for not allowing Daniel to bore all of us with an all horror trailer selection for TPP 33 during the summer.  A summer lineup would have no real reason to contain multiple horror trailers.  Daniel would have tried to sell us all on the numerical significance of 33 and it's connection to horror and evil things but it would not have spoken to others without Halloween being involved.  Needless to say, Daniel was moody about the whole thing but still managed to maintain professionalism and be a gentleman even though there was definitely a sense of entitlement.  We welcome Chelsea to the podcast and The Intern shows up with an attitude problem.  We check out Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and end up in an argument about Zombieland.  Bone Tomahawk appears to have a cannibal stuffing a phallic bone down Kurt Russell's throat and the cannibal is totally winning in the trailer shoving that tomacock deep.  The Witch is not coming out until February of 2016 but the film festivals and feedback suggest it could be the next great horror film making it a worthy fulcrum for our all horror Halloween episode.  Tales of Halloween is a horror anthology and we break down how many of the shorts need to be good in order for it to be a success, this is also where the Intern starts to get real lippy.  Lumberjack Man is a parody of the Leatherface/Michael Myers/Jason character archetype and it's nice to go out on a fun note even if the Intern is a bummer the whole time.  We discuss the horror genre a little more and which elements frighten us the most on the round table using a fun chart we found at www.horroronscreen.com.  Stick around for the Burden List and the Intern Archive Update
