In the IAU #7 we get our big blockbuster comic movies on with green monsters and suits.
YOU HAVE TO BE
WORRIED OR EXCITED
Trailer #1: Guardians of the Galaxy
Directed by James Gunn starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel
Synopsis: A team of criminals and bounty hunters join together to try and save the galaxy from the evilness that is Ronin. Fast passed and just fun for everyone. Marvel mania starts things over again as a lead up to the last two Avenger Infinity movies.
Nathan EXCITED about Chris Pratt displaying 'Hansense' like the sense of Han Solo.
Daniel is EXCITED enough to call out that they were both excited.
Rotten Tomatoes IMDb Intern +2
Winner: 1 point for both Nathan and Daniel.
Trailer #2: The Fault In Our Stars
Directed by Josh Boone starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort
Synopsis: A girl who is dying of cancer meets a boy and this movie gets real sad real fast. Bring some tissues and a shoulder to weep on. John Green writes great and this movie has a real story that will make you want to live your life when you are done watching it.
Nathan excited because he likes movies that teach us to appreciate life by facing death
Danielworried just indie music and relationship stuff that Daniel wants no part of.
Rotten Tomatoes IMDb Intern +2
Winner: Nathan said this book was a big deal and he was right even though his later opinion says otherwise.
Trailer #3: Deliver Us From Evil
Directed by Scott Derrickson starring Eric Bana and Olivia Munn
Synopsis: A string of crimes leads to a military man who has been possessed by a demon. The cop and priest involved end up having to exorcise the demon. This movie was a mix of Se7en and all exorcism movies but was missing something, something to retain my interest. Deliver Us From Evil did not deliver.
Nathan spent the whole time arguing that this might be something special and didn't choose either.
Daniel is worried due to two people with zero personality and bad directing/producing. It looks live an excuse to have monsters.
Rotten Tomatoes IMDb Intern +1
Winner: Daniel is for making a decision.
Trailer #4 The Art Of The Steal
Directed by Jonathan Sobol starring Kurt Russell, Jay Baruchel and Kathryn Winnick
Synopsis: There are some things that get stolen. There are some characters that are fun to watch. There is a movie that is kind of like a diamond in the ruff. Heist, comedy, good.
Nathan was worried and then the cousins argued about being decisive and making a decision on being worried or excited.
Daniel was a little bit worried too.
Rotten Tomatoes IMDb Intern +2
Winner: The boys are losers on this one no points no movement on the bar graph.
Trailer #5: Kingsman The Secret Service
Directed by Matthew Vaughn starring Colin Firth and Taron Egerton
Synopsis: James Bond + Kick Ass + Training = Kingsman the Secret Service. Colin Firth is exceptional.
Nathan was very excited based on a comic book and directed by the guy who did Stardust and KickAss.
Daniel was worried uh oh is this just an adult Cody Banks
Rotten Tomatoes IMDb Intern +2
Winner: Nathan
WINNER OF TRAILER PARK PODCAST #7: Nathan 3-2
And Nathan continues to dominate leading 20 to 16 in the Worried and Excited prediction game. Thanks for tuning in for another episode of the IAU. I'll see you next week where someone will take a major step forward.
In The IAU we cover some jersey boys getting some sort of signal and Hercules makes an appearance as well.
YOU HAVE TO BE
WORRIED OR EXCITED
Trailer #1: Hercules
Directed by Brett Ratner starring Dwayne Johnson and Ian McShane
Synopsis: This is the story of Hercules leading up to the legend. It if full of little lies and big lies until Hercules does what he can to become the legend everyone thinks he his. Dwayne Johnson appears cartoonish in this and the movie just is not well done. Bring some drinks and some friends and you could shhh this movie the whole time.
Nathan excited about the imagery
Daniel excited because this should have happened with the last hercules movie.
Rotten Tomatoes 60% IMDb 6.1 Intern -1
Winner: Both boys lose out on this one it is not really worth watching.
Trailer #2: The Rover
Directed by David Michod starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson
Synopsis: Is a post apocalyptic movie about an Australian man attempting to get his stolen car back. This movie has Robert Pattinson playing his best role to day a dim witted young man. Throughout the movie the two characters build a relationship that is full of tension but that doesn't change the fact that it is a movie about a guy trying to get his car back.
Nathan got excited and let his appeal for Guy Pearce sway him.
Daniel also got excited but though the trailer didn't do the movie justice.
Rotten Tomatoes 66% IMDb 6.4 Intern 0
Winner: It's a double team loser on this one as well.
Trailer #3: As Above So Below
Directed by John Drick Dowdle starring Perdita weeks and Ben Feldman
Synopsis: A student of history is looking for a stone. Her research leads her to the catacombs in Paris. She ends up finding the philosophers stone and works her way through hell itself to the freedom of Paris in the end. This is a much higher quality type filming like The Blair Witch Project. This movie was just okay.
Nathan is worried about the Paris reference to the catacombs that might not have anything to do with the movie
Daniel leans worried seems like it will be like The Descent.
Rotten Tomatoes 26% IMDb 6.1 Intern +1
Winner: Just 3 losers in a row no points so far this could just be bad judgement all the way to the end.
Trailer #4: Jersey Boys
Directed by Clint Eastwood starring John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda and Vincent Piazza
Synopsis: They sing and break the 4th wall talking to the camera. It is a story of success, betrayal and success again of the band The Four Season with Frankie Valli. Based off of a book by David Cote as well as a play. This movie feels like watching a play and the breaking of the 4th wall was a turn off for me.
Nathan got worried due to Clint Eastwood not being a sure thing with all of his movies of late.
Daniel is worried about the 4th wall breaking throughout the trailer.
Rotten Tomatoes 52% IMDb 6.9 Intern 0

Synopsis: The Signal is about a few students who wake up in a solitary hospital type place and start having to answer real questions like are you from earth? It just builds and gets better from there as they run away and try to find out what happened to them before waking up in confinement. The imagination behind this movie is great it is done as well as District 9 with the reminisces of the Matrix.
Nathan is excited in a big way.
Daniel also got excited for this one the trailer was great.
Rotten Tomatoes IMDb 6.1 Intern +2
Winner: Chicken dinner they both are winners again.

YOU HAVE TO BE
WORRIED OR EXCITED
Trailer #1: Maleficent
Directed by Robert Stromberg starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning
Synopsis: Who knew that Maleficent was a fairy with wings and all. Loads of CGI and the story of Maleficent before she was bad... Kinda. Maleficent is on the hunt to get her stolen wings back for this story. There is an audience for this one it just wasn't me, however it was done well with good intentions and is apparently good enough for a trilogy.
Nathan worried Daniel worried
Rotten Tomatoes 49% IMDb7.0 Intern +1
Winner: Tie They both get a point for Maleficent it wasn't very good but there is an audience for this.
Trailer #2: Night Moves
Directed by Kelly Reichardt starring Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning, and Peter Sarsgaard
Synopsis: It's about environmentalists blowing up a dam and the repercussions of unplanned outcomes. It should be about relationships or just a really good story but no connections are made with characters. When the climactic scene is one person killing another you need to have an attachment to one of them and with no attachments this really didn't work out. I can't wait for Night Moves to move on from my memory.

Trailer #4: Chef
Directed by Jon Favreau, starring Jon Favreau and John Leguizamo

Directed by Bryan Singer starring Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence
Synopsis: X-Men New and X-Men old it doesn't matter we'll reset this franchise again anyway. It's amazing we can see one of the best superhero scenes (The Quicksilver scene) with a lacklustre movie build around it. Best quote 'So, you were always an asshole' - Wolverine.

An intense Spy movie that will show us why Phillip Seymour Hoffman was one of his generations greatest actors. Based off the book by John Le Carre.
