Trailer #1: Jurassic World

Directed by Colin Trevorrow starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Irrfan Khan and Vincent D'Onofrio

Intern Review: The Park is OPEN! The park is open! Finally after 2 sequels the park is open. Why wasn't this story the second one? Jurassic Park 2 and 3 where unneeded and not very good. This being compared is still not close to being as good as the first one. How ever this was done well and fun to watch. I'd give it a go for ya'll.

Trailer #2: Beyond the Reach

Directed byJean-Baptiste Léonetti starring Michael Douglas, Jeremy Irvine and Hanna Mangan Lawrence

Intern Review: Beyond the Reach should have been a movie that was fast paced and intense. But instead was repetitive and there was no connection to either of the characters. This movie failed on many levels. The fourth act of Michael Douglas coming back was a complete waste. Douglas' character should have just killed the kid but they failed to even make the end interesting. If there ever was a zero this is it. Sorry not sorry.  Just go watch Hard Target (1993) with Van Damme instead as it was a much more competent version of this movie.

Intern Review: So The Vatican Tapes..... It sucked then was good then sucked then was terrible the end. Have you ever watched a trailer and was given a promise of something that you wanted only to not get that at all? Well that's my experience with The Vatican Tapes. There was an abundance of opportunity to make not only a great movie but a series and this probably should have been turned into a tv show with multiple tapes and cases. Alas it was not and turned into the coming of the antichrist whoop-de-do. Was really looking forward to this and it turned into a blasphemy of cinema.

He tries to stay legit and not turn into a gangster while trying to not respond with violence himself. Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain really drive this movie forward and they slowly transform to the end of this movie. It is a little slower paced and if you can handle that you will enjoy this one. You are also apparently a coward if you are dealing with PTSD and you kill someone who is a man about it. If this doesn't sound sarcastic, it is. This story has a lot of controversy surrounding it and it appears that we only get a very slim one sided version of it. I would suggest watching almost any other war movie. Don't buy this instead go buy some guns and join the army to kill some family's that are caught up in wars that have been started by other people. Directed by Wes Ball starring Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster

Intern's Review: Based on the best selling book by James Dashner. When adults test kids by putting them in situations where the kids start to die with mecha spiders and mazes. The kids start Tom Cruise running throughout this movie and we find out that Wicked is Good and She is the last one, ever. 1/3 Hunger Games, 1/3 Battle Royale, 1/3 Lord of the Flies.

Nathan got worried.
Daniel got worried as well it's like Hunger Games/Running Man/Game of Thrones

Rotten Tomatoes 63% IMDb 6.8 Intern +1

Winner Nathan and Daniel both get a point for this one.

Bonus Trailer: Outcast

Directed by Nick Powell starring Nicolas Cage and Hayden Christensen

Intern's Review: Another movie about a kingdom needing assistance from some out of place white people to help save it. Don't bother watching this one not even for how bad it is as it can't even deliver on being crappy enough to be good bad.

Nathan was excited by how bad this could be.
Daniel thought it was too much worried and screamed horribleness and greatness combined.

Rotten Tomates 6% IMDb 4.6 Intern 0

The Intern Archive Update #9

The first guest ever Shelley with the same last name as the cousins joined the team. Remakes, overdone comedy, bad horror, crazy minus scale and academy awards are all present for this edition of the IAU.

YOU HAVE TO BE

WORRIED      OR      EXCITED

Trailer #1: Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

Directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez starring Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson, Bruce Willis, and Eva Green.

Synopsis: It's like an extension of the first movie with the plot that Eva Green is a Dame To Kill For. If you think she is you might like this movie. I enjoyed it but had no expectations, if you liked the first one I would give this a chance as it is enjoyable in a not as good as the original kinda way.

Nathan worried about people walking away from the project and couldn't live up to the first one.

Daniel was worried as well for the same reasons.

Rotten Tomatoes 43% IMDb 6.6 Intern +1 or +2

Winner: They lose and need to take the sticks out of their butts and just enjoy this for what it is. Still based off of the comics it wasn't as good as number one but still enjoyable.

Trailer #2: Tammy

Directed by Ben Falcone starring Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon.

Synopsis: Tammy is a comedy just like any other if you like comedy you'll like this one I guess. A grandma and granddaughter go on a trip together and grow from hating each other to loving one another. I laughed a few times which is more than usual, which means this movie was okay.

Oh Jesus she’s cryin up a storm, somebody go hug her.
— Becky

Nathan wished he could sit in the middle worried.

Daniel is worried even though he likes Melissa McCarthy.

Rotten Tomatoes 23% IMDb 4.8 Intern +1

Winner: They win after both losing

Trailer #3: Hunting the Legend

Directed by Justin Steeley starring Christopher Copeland and Hannah Wallace

Synopsis: A new winner on the worst movie ever made. It is like the Blair Witch Project in that it was filmed the same way but with HD cameras and that it was really bad. It is so bad that no critics have rated it with Rotten Tomatoes. This is actually the worst movie I have ever seen, so bad that I am not even giving it a synopsis.

Nathan was happy that he could join Daniel in their worried feelings.

Daniel was worried about bad acting

Rotten Tomatoes No critic reviews IMDb 3.5 Intern 0

Winner: All tied up as the cousins haven't disagreed on the anything so far.

Trailer #4: Snowpiercer

Directed by Joon-ho Bong starring Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, Kang-ho Song and Ah-sung Ko.

Synopsis: The Rattling Arc is the train that goes on forever. When the lower class occupants that are supposed to stay in the rear of the train start a revolt, bloodshed ensues on the Arc. Its all about class, upper class, lower class, and everyone staying in their rightful spots. This might be the worst idea in ages and just had to be made.

Nathan is worried about the super train and how ridiculous this looks and sounds.

Daniel was excited agreeing with the guest that it seems like the adult Hunger Games.

Rotten Tomatoes 95% IMDb 7.0 Intern -2

Winner: Daniel because this was a wild piece of shit that was exciting with the first good negative score on the scale.

Trailer #5: Birdman

Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu starring Michael Keaton, Zach Galifanakis, Edward Norton and Emma Stone.

Synopsis: A washed up actor tries to make himself relevant again but producing directing and starring in his own play. With the help of a know it all actor who joins the play at the last minute. This movie is a satire on the whole play community with a blend of fantasy/schizophrenia and beautiful long single shots. If you like art movies with strong acting directing and cinematography you'll like this. Finally an Oscar for Best Picture and Director that we can all agree on.... There was the occurrence of Edward Norton getting snubbed again for supporting actor which I will not let pass.

Nathan was excited by what was lining up with this trailer. Director is amazing and Michael Keaton playing himself.

Daniel was holy shit excited for a Michael Keaton comeback.

Rotten Tomatoes 92% IMDb Intern +3

Winner: Tie this is the third time since 2000 that the Academy choose the film I agreed with for Best Picture.

THE WINNER OR TPP#9 IS DANIEL

And Daniel tied everything up so there is no leader anymore brought back to donuts, all knotted up, the big tie dye tie. 25/25 for the boys and come back next week for the never ending worried and excited accuracy game.

The Intern Archive Update #8

YOU HAVE TO BE

WORRIED    OR    EXCITED

Trailer #1: Lucy

Directed by Luc Besson starring Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman.

Synopsis: Lucy has the misfortune of having been brought into a drug smuggling ring and had some drugs inserted into her belly for transportation. Then the fortune of having the bag break giving her percentage points of unlocking up to 100% of her brains potential. The drug smuggling group tries to kill her for the rest of the movie while Lucy is on a time line to share her knowledge before she dies. To much reference to real science with the story being full of science falseness to make a connection with me. If you can get past the science issues I have you may enjoy this movie a lot.

Nathan excited about the suspension of disbelief and like the superhero side of this and also likes Luc Besson and his female heroins.

Daniel worried about this trying to be to many things like Matrix/Limitless and the science crap.

Rotten Tomatoes 66% IMDb 6.4 Intern +1

Winner: Daniel because the bad science was too much for me to take.

Trailer #2: Earth To Echo

Directed Dave Green by starring Teo Halm, Astro, Reese Hartwig and Ella Wahlestedt.

Synopsis: Kids decide to spend their last night together in search of something they don't know. When they find out what they were looking for was an alien they decide to try and "E.T." it and help send it home. It appears this movie was made with GoPro cameras and the whole time its like a home video. A very well done home video but it is still like a home video.

Nathan was excited because this could be this generations E.T.

Daniel was worried with inflection in his voice and doesn't connect as he is older now and not interested.

Rotten Tomatoes 48% IMDb 5.8 Intern +1

Winner: Daniel because it would have been better if the gopros were used for portions of the movie instead of the whole thing.

Trailer #3: Leprechaun Origins

Directed by Zach Lipovsky starring Dylan Postl and Stephanie Bennett.

Synopsis: Leprechaun Origins is a failure on every level. It doesn't even have anything to do with Leprechauns. Everything that made the actual original Leprechaun movies good was missing. Don't bother with this WWE disaster.

Nathan was don't even need to ask worried

Daniel worried starting with WWE studios and moving on to how ridiculous the originals were and this one looks to serious.

Rotten Tomatoes No critics have reviewed IMDb 3.3 Intern 0

Winner: Daniel and Nathan both win on this one.

Trailer #4: Calvary

Directed by John Michael McDonagh starring Brendan Gleeson, Chris O'Dowd and Kelly Reilly.

Synopsis: A good priest who has done nothing wrong gets threatened with death for the sins that other priests have committed. This story leads up to that action taking place. It has strong relationships and believable actors and actresses. I would recommend this for a one time viewing.

Nathan was worried it might be boring.

Daniel got excited because it looks like it wouldn't be boring.

Rotten Tomatoes 89% IMDb 7.4 Intern +2

Winner: Daniel because he just seems to be nailing this episode.

Trailer #5: Kill the Messenger

Directed by Michael Cuesta starring Jeremy Renner, Robert Patrick, Jena Sims

Synopsis: A reporter tries to uncover a CIA drug smuggling scam that took place a decade earlier. Its like a conspiracy theory without the theory.

Nathan rushed the bell excited and can't get over Jeremy Renner's hair in movies.

Daniel was excited too

Rotten Tomatoes 77% IMDb 7.0 Intern +2

Winner: Daniel and Nathan both tie on the win again.

Trailer Table Scraps: What We Do In The Shadows

Directed by Jemaine Clement starring Jemaine Clement, Talka Waititi and Cori Gonzalez-Macuer

Synopsis: What We Do In The Shadows is a mocumentary on the lives of vampires. There are a lot of great moments through-out this whole movie. I recommend it if you like documentaries or mocumentaries. It is just a lot of dumb fun.

Nathan and Daniel didn't get worried or excited as this was an extra trailer that was already showing in the theatre. So no points and we may as well pretend this never happened.

Rotten Tomatoes 96% IMDb 7.6 Intern -2

WINNER OF TRAILER PARK PODCAST #8: DANIEL 5-2
Who got every movie right with my reviews that would be a first for either cousin.
