The Intern Archive Update #1

YOU HAVE TO BE

WORRIED      or      EXCITED

Lets find out in the recap of Trailer Park Podcast #1 if Daniel and Nathan were Tom Cruise Worried or Excited...

This will only be used if the Intern has actually watched the movie which I have been instructed to do before each review of Trailer Park Podcast by the lazy gentlemen the Carver Cousins.

The scale that will be used in conjunction with my reviews was developed at www.onehundredlunatics.com and is as follows:

3 Masterpiece

2 Recommendable

1 Satisfactory

0 Unnecessary

-1 Guilty Pleasure

-2 Dumb Fun

-3 Masterpiece of Shit

Trailer #1: Edge of Tomorrow a.k.a Live Die Repeat

Directed by Doug Liman Starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt

Intern Synopsis: It's like the action version of Groundhog Day except you get to watch Tom Cruise die before the day starts over again. Die Tom Cruise Die!

Nathan saw red flags with screen writers and talked a little too in-depth worried.

Daniel was excited on the very first trailer causing controversy, he was also excited by Tom Cruises' child like wonder.

Rotten Tomatoes 90% IMDb 7.9 Intern's Score +2

Winner: Daniel.  Congratulations to Daniel for wanting to enjoy the repetitive death of Tom Cruise as it was enjoyable.

Trailer #2: A Most Wanted Man

Directed by Anton Corbin starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Grigoriy Dobrygin

Intern Synopsis: "You're a social worker for terrorists'"- Gunther Bachmann

An intense Spy movie that will show us why Phillip Seymour Hoffman was one of his generations greatest actors. Based off the book by John Le Carre.

Nathan got excited about Hoffman and the quality of the movie.

Daniel was excited too.  Unity at long last took one whole trailer to bring them together. Daniel also shows his true feelings of disgust for Rachel McAdams and sexism ensues.

Rotten Tomatoes 65% IMDb 6.8 Intern's Scale +1

Winner: We have a Tie! This movie was good enough but we aren't going to scream from the rooftops to recommend it.

Trailer #3: Neighbors

Directed by Nicholas Stoller starring Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne

Intern Synopsis: It was like every other comedy ever made with frat houses taking things to far with square folk as they try to one up each other into movie making mediocrity.

Nathan is worried about casting and that Seth Rogen doesn't seem serious enough, he refuses to watch the movie.

Daniel is excited even with the CG airbag scenes.  Daniel won't go to watch the movie in the theater.

Rotten Tomatoes 64% IMDb 6.4 Intern's Scale 0

Winner: Nathan. Neighbors was a piece of shit.

Trailer #4: Oculus

Directed by Mike Flanagan starring Karen Gillan and Brenton Thwaites.

Intern Synopsis: Paranormal horror about a mirror. Mirrors are scary right?

Nathan is worried about what details are shown in horror movie trailers and the more he saw the more worried he became.

Daniel is very worried, he felt it was way to obvious and too many computer graphics showed to many parts. Blegh.

Rotten Tomatoes 52% IMDb 6.5 Intern's Scale +1

Winner: There were only losers on this one.  Oculus turned out to be pretty good reflecting upon itself in this mirror movie.

Trailer #5: The Giver

Directed by Phillip Noyce starring Brenton Thwaites and Jeff Bridges.

Intern Synopsis: The Giver was a failed 1998 Pleasantville even though the book is great.

Nathan is excited by the labor of love and that it looks like it will be executed well.  He hasn't read the book but likes the idea and concept of the movie.

Daniel is worried and believes that this will ruin his memory of how the Giver contributed to his childhood.

Rotten Tomatoes 36% IMDb 6.5 Intern's Scale 0

Winner: Daniel.  This movie will ruin your childhood memories of reading the book.

Winner of Trailer Park Podcast #1: Daniel
