The Intern Archive Update #34

YOU HAVE TO BE

WORRIED    OR    EXCITED

Trailer #1: Fantastic Four

Directed by Josh Trank starring Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell

Intern Review: Yes it is bad possibly worse than every other superhero movie so far. Enter at your own risk. Or just watch any other superhero movie, literally.

Nathan Excited to see what they will do with this. (Hahaha)
Daniel Academically worried
Chelsea Worried
The Intern Worried

Rotten Tomatoes 9% IMDb 4.3 Intern 0

Points Nathan 0 Daniel 1 Chelsea 1 The Intern 1

Trailer #2: People Places Things

Directed by James C. Strouse starring Jemaine Clement, Aundrea Gadsby, Gia Gadsby, Stephanie Allynne, Michael Chernus, Regina Hall and Jessica Williams

Intern Review: Mr Apathy runs away with cynicism sarcasm intelligence and of course apathy. It's what could be an accurate representation of a modern dysfunctional family. There is a great story in here and the performances are wonderfully authentic. This one is Intern approved go check it out.

Nathan Excited
Daniel will give it a chance Excited
Chelsea has heart for days Excited
The Intern like this is a relationship movie for Daniel Excited

Rotten Tomatoes 77% IMDb 6.9 Intern +2

Points Nathan 1 Daniel 2 Chelsea 2 The Intern 2

Trailer #3: Sinister 2

Directed by Clarán Foy starring James Ransone, Shannyn Sosamon, Robert Daniel Sloan, Dartanian Sloan, Lea Coco and Tate Elington

Intern Review: So I just watched this less than a week ago and I am having a hard time remembering anything about it. The Sinister monster posses' a child and gets him to make a movie while trying to kill everyone. It sounds better than it was as I can't remember it being good or really remember it at all.

Nathan gave a late worried opinion
Daniel hold back from this worried
Chelsea liked boogie men stuff excited but will not watch it
The Intern doesn't care like everyone else worried

Rotten Tomatoes 13% IMDb 5.3 Intern +1ish

Points Nathan 2 Daniel 3 Chelsea 2 The Intern 3

Trailer #4: Diary of a Teenage Girl

Directed by Marielle Heller starring Bel Powley, Kristen Wiig, and Alexander Skarsgård

Intern Review: The movie is literally the Diary of a Teenage Girl told through her recording cassette tapes. There is some comic art that comes through with real life experiences about the uncomfortable story of a teenage girl having sex for the first time and finding herself sexually and then dealing with what that means in a coming of age story. Another Intern Approved movie check this one out as well. Diary of a Teenage Girl wins the episode of being the highest quality or being my favourite movie of Update #34.

Nathan excited for the statement on young female sexuality
Daniel worried
Chelsea really hits on a lot of points excited
The Intern could be something special excited

Rotten Tomatoes 93% IMDb 6.9 Intern +2

Points Nathan 3 Daniel 3 Chelsea 3 The Intern 4

Trailer #5: Ricki and the Flash

Directed by Jonathan Demme starring Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Rick Springfield and Mamie Gummer.

Intern Review: An estranged mother comes back to comfort her daughter who is going through a divorce while her other son is getting married. A great performance by her daughter (actual and fictional) turns this movie into a kind of fluff piece but enjoyable non the less. You get some music and family issues.

Nathan Excited not about Ricki and the Flash but about Meryl Streep
Daniel seems small because it seems just about relationships worried
Chelsea has my idol Meryl in it excited
The Intern called 20th academy nomination excited (failed prediction)

Rotten Tomatoes 65% IMDb 6.0 Intern +1

Points Nathan 4 Daniel 3 Chelsea 4 The Intern 5

*On a side note both People Places Things and Diary of a Teenage Girl won the episode as the best movies of the week.
