The Intern Archive Update #9

The first guest ever Shelley with the same last name as the cousins joined the team. Remakes, overdone comedy, bad horror, crazy minus scale and academy awards are all present for this edition of the IAU.

YOU HAVE TO BE

WORRIED      OR      EXCITED

Trailer #1: Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

Directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez starring Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson, Bruce Willis, and Eva Green.

Synopsis: It's like an extension of the first movie with the plot that Eva Green is a Dame To Kill For. If you think she is you might like this movie. I enjoyed it but had no expectations, if you liked the first one I would give this a chance as it is enjoyable in a not as good as the original kinda way.

Nathan worried about people walking away from the project and couldn't live up to the first one.

Daniel was worried as well for the same reasons.

Rotten Tomatoes 43% IMDb 6.6 Intern +1 or +2

Winner: They lose and need to take the sticks out of their butts and just enjoy this for what it is. Still based off of the comics it wasn't as good as number one but still enjoyable.

Trailer #2: Tammy

Directed by Ben Falcone starring Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon.

Synopsis: Tammy is a comedy just like any other if you like comedy you'll like this one I guess. A grandma and granddaughter go on a trip together and grow from hating each other to loving one another. I laughed a few times which is more than usual, which means this movie was okay.

Oh Jesus she’s cryin up a storm, somebody go hug her.
— Becky

Nathan wished he could sit in the middle worried.

Daniel is worried even though he likes Melissa McCarthy.

Rotten Tomatoes 23% IMDb 4.8 Intern +1

Winner: They win after both losing

Trailer #3: Hunting the Legend

Directed by Justin Steeley starring Christopher Copeland and Hannah Wallace

Synopsis: A new winner on the worst movie ever made. It is like the Blair Witch Project in that it was filmed the same way but with HD cameras and that it was really bad. It is so bad that no critics have rated it with Rotten Tomatoes. This is actually the worst movie I have ever seen, so bad that I am not even giving it a synopsis.

Nathan was happy that he could join Daniel in their worried feelings.

Daniel was worried about bad acting

Rotten Tomatoes No critic reviews IMDb 3.5 Intern 0

Winner: All tied up as the cousins haven't disagreed on the anything so far.

Trailer #4: Snowpiercer

Directed by Joon-ho Bong starring Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, Kang-ho Song and Ah-sung Ko.

Synopsis: The Rattling Arc is the train that goes on forever. When the lower class occupants that are supposed to stay in the rear of the train start a revolt, bloodshed ensues on the Arc. Its all about class, upper class, lower class, and everyone staying in their rightful spots. This might be the worst idea in ages and just had to be made.

Nathan is worried about the super train and how ridiculous this looks and sounds.

Daniel was excited agreeing with the guest that it seems like the adult Hunger Games.

Rotten Tomatoes 95% IMDb 7.0 Intern -2

Winner: Daniel because this was a wild piece of shit that was exciting with the first good negative score on the scale.

Trailer #5: Birdman

Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu starring Michael Keaton, Zach Galifanakis, Edward Norton and Emma Stone.

Synopsis: A washed up actor tries to make himself relevant again but producing directing and starring in his own play. With the help of a know it all actor who joins the play at the last minute. This movie is a satire on the whole play community with a blend of fantasy/schizophrenia and beautiful long single shots. If you like art movies with strong acting directing and cinematography you'll like this. Finally an Oscar for Best Picture and Director that we can all agree on.... There was the occurrence of Edward Norton getting snubbed again for supporting actor which I will not let pass.

Nathan was excited by what was lining up with this trailer. Director is amazing and Michael Keaton playing himself.

Daniel was holy shit excited for a Michael Keaton comeback.

Rotten Tomatoes 92% IMDb Intern +3

Winner: Tie this is the third time since 2000 that the Academy choose the film I agreed with for Best Picture.
